Our Birds
All About Our Baby Birds
Our adorable babies are raised
inside our home with specialized attention to the fact
that each baby has their own personality. Our lovable,
socialized hand-fed babies are well adapted to
different toys of varied size, colors and textures.
They are weaned to a diet that consists of Zupreme
Natural pellets, assorted nuts, many vegetables, fruits, kale and
other greens. Seed is provides only as a treat except
for ground foraging birds, such as Cockatiels. Their
diet comprises 50% seed mixed with pellets and fresh
foods.
We know the importance placed on
rearing and raising different species. Each
species of bird has a specified set of
characteristics, let alone their individual
personalities. Each baby is raised with that in mind,
with a positive approach for rewarding all good
behaviors.
Just as we spend quality time
preparing babies for their new life with you, we also
realize the responsibility doesn’t end there.
Whether experienced or a novice pet bird owner, we
believe we are personally, and ethically obligated to
keep you informed about the new baby bird about to
enter your home. Therefore we provide a
carefully designed, species specific care package, and
free ongoing consultations for anyone who purchases
one of our babies. See Our Services.
We also pride ourselves on
our matchmaking abilities. Raising baby birds allows
us insight into the process in which each baby
develops its unique personality, and behavioral
attributes. We can then determine how to proceed
individually with each one, to better prepare Our
Babies for their future. One of the most
important responsibilities of rearing babies is to
find the appropriate, and best suited home environment
possible.
Some babies will be best suited
for an active family situation with a house full of
children, whereas another may be best in a quieter,
less exciting atmosphere. The most appropriate
placement of each bird comes before each sale. We wish
for our babies to be placed in the best situations
possible so you and your new bird may build upon a
healthy, trusting relationship filled with the many rewards and joys
a companion bird offers.
